A Tribute - A Mother Reflects on the One Year Anniversary of Losing Her Daughter to Breast Cancer

Gloria Glickman from Clifton, New Jersey remembers the day in 2000 when her 28-year-old daughter, Jennifer called her on the telephone to tell her she felt a lump in her left breast.

YOU'LL BE FINE

SACRED HEART MEMORIAL HOSPITAL DIET

Gloria's first reaction was to tell her not to worry about it, that she was sure it was fine, but to still be sure to get it checked by a doctor. Her daughter took her mother's advice. But like most people waiting for results of a biopsy, she worried.

When she called her mom about her anxiety, Gloria recalls reminding her daughter that she herself had once had a cyst and it turned out to be nothing, so she reassured her daughter that everything would be okay.

MOM, IT'S MALIGNANT

One week later, Gloria was at home with her husband, Don and heard the words from her daughter that a mother never imagines she'll hear in her lifetime. Her athletic, healthy, beautiful, full of energy daughter, Jennifer calling to say, "Mom it's malignant. I have breast cancer."

DISBELIEF

Jennifer was athletic and ate well and was in very good shape. This was more of a genetic predisposition to breast cancer than anything else. The only reason she even went in to have a mammogram was because of the lump she felt in her left breast. She otherwise wouldn't have given it a second thought. Even with a family history, she never thought it would affect her. Jennifer's grandmother on her father's side had breast cancer, as well as several aunts.

But she still saw breast cancer as something far removed from her own life. She was healthy. She never once imagined it would strike her, especially not in her twenties. She was too young. She was too active. She was too fit. She took good care of herself and took pride in eating right and exercising regularly.

Gloria could barely hold the telephone in her hand. She remembers wanting to run as far away as she could from what the voice on the other end of the telephone, but her body was frozen in time. Her heart seemed to stop.

COURAGE

Gloria held her breathe and fought back the tears while listening to her daughter's courageous words:

"Mom, I want you to be brave because I'm going to fight this." Gloria could hardly believe how calm her daughter was at this moment. Their roles were suddenly reversed. Instead of a mother offering solace to a child, it was the other way around. Jennifer was comforting her mother. Jennifer reminded her mother that she was a fighter and she wouldn't allow anything change her optimistic outlook on life. She intended to live a long and happy life.

LIFE GOES ON

That life included being engaged to be married just three months after her diagnosis. This meant she was faced with not only telling her mother, but telling her fiance about the news. How do you tell your prospective husband that you may die. That question, that life -- that future flashed before Gloria's eyes as she hung up the phone. Her hands shook uncontrollably and shared the news with her husband, Don who knew from the look on her face that something was terribly wrong. Her husband was supportive and told her, "We'll get through this together."

Next, Gloria called her own mother, who was in her seventies to say, "Mom I just got a call from Jen and we have to be strong and support her." Gloria's mom, Ann Tausk, a Holocaust survivor was used to surviving the worst in life without letting it affect her spirit. This time, she didn't know if she had it in her to fight. Her own mother told Gloria she didn't know if she could handle it.

Meanwhile, Jennifer was faced with telling her fiance. Upon being told, he reaffirmed his soon-to-be wife and was extremely supportive and offered to take care of her. Gloria thought he could have ran and said he didn't want anything to do with her, but he stayed by her daughter's side.

DECISIONS

Back at the hospital, the doctors wanted to remove lymph nodes to find out if the breast cancer had spread.

They were relieved to learn the cancer was just contained in her one breast. After careful consideration, Jennifer then decided to have a mastectomy and have the breast removed. She also reduced the other breast, so it would not be that drastically noticeable. Jennifer wanted to remove the cancerous breast and had the most aggressive chemotherapy to get it out of her body.

She was told she would lose her hair, but she desperately wanted the disease out of her body. Jennifer had a full head of long, curly hair down to the middle of her back. She knew chemotherapy would mean sacrificing a part of her external looks at a time when she wanted to look her best -- her wedding day.

Gloria remembers asking her daughter when she would take her wedding photos knowing she would lose her hair. Jennifer didn't care. She said she'd make a turban since she would be completely bald. Jennifer did just that. Even though she was completely bald on her wedding day, she was a radiant, beautiful bride.

So beautiful that she was featured in the January 2001 issue of MAMM Magazine, Women Cancer and Community. The title of the article was fitting. It was called, "Bald is Beautiful" and it featured many women

IN HER OWN WORDS

In the magazine, Jennifer was quoted saying, "On March 30, 2000 at age twenty-eight, I was diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma. My fiance and I had been planning our wedding for nearly a year. People were traveling from all over the country and as far away as Australia and I was going to be in the middle of chemotherapy. My hair started to fall out a month before the wedding. After trying wig after wig, I gave up. I was afraid that without hair, I'd be an ugly bride. But I looked and felt beautiful. With the love of the people around me and the strength I had inside, we went through with the wedding."

Jennifer was in the middle of her chemotherapy, and took a few weeks break from it so she wouldn't feel nauseas during the wedding.

She got married and finished her chemotherapy two months following the wedding. And then she continued doing what she had to following doctor's orders. She was on tamoxofin, her hair grew back and she kept it short. Yet, her hair wasn't the only thing that would be short.

Her new marriage did not survive. Relatives and friends noticed Jennifer was nervous and unhappy. They didn't know if it was the cancer or the marriage. Jennifer seemed irritable. Everyone assumed she wasn't happy because of the illness.

FIVE YEARS LATER

In 2005, when she passed her five year milestone of being "clean"...it was called NED...No Evidence of Disease...a common term within the cancer community, Gloria received another call that made her heart skip a beat. Jennifer called to say, "I just reached my five year milestone AND my marriage isn't working. I'm getting divorced"

She was married five years and had been cancer-free for five years. Jennifer told her mom that she needed to move on. Since she had begun therapy at this time, she realized that she was unhappy in the marriage. Jennifer felt she would live another fifty years and she wanted them to be happy and healthy. She went through marriage counseling, but had the courage to leave a marriage that wasn't right for her despite everything else she had gone through.

Gloria, her husband Don, and the family, including her step-siblings Howard and Jennifer all supported her in her decision. Her daughter also decided to change jobs. She switched careers and went from computer graphics for another engineering firm to work in marketing for an engineering firm instead. She said she would rather be alone than not be happy within the marriage. Gloria wasn't a stranger to divorce since she had been divorced from Jennifer's father when Jennifer was four- years- old.

Soon after her divorce, Jennifer met Greg Hoffmann who was to be her second husband. Jennifer also decided to get active in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. She met her future husband through participating in this foundation, and he would become the love of her life. They fell in love and Jennifer was happier than she had ever been.

THE CANCER RETURNS

Two years later, in 2007, Gloria received another dreaded call. Gloria was in the South Pacific with her husband and she hadn't spoken to her daughter for three weeks because they had been vacationing on a freighter. Jennifer said she wanted to wait to tell Gloria the latest news until she got home, but couldn't. The breast cancer was back but this time in the liver and ovaries. Gloria wanted to die. Jennifer told her not to worry, they were going to zap it and get rid of it. Gloria got off the phone and felt paralyzed. She remembers sobbing. Again.

BACK TO LIVING

That same year, Jennifer was planning to climb Mt. Whitney in California to put up a banner flag for cancer and she did it in between radiation treatments. Her new job was going well. She never missed a day of work. She got promoted and was thriving professionally. Greg was as courageous as Jennifer. His sense of humor helped. Jennifer felt supported, happy, in love and that she could conquer the world.

Jennifer started writing a blog in December of 2007 called, http://www.laceupyourgloves.blogspot.com where she gave a day by day description of her experience. So many people wrote on it when she passed away in 2009. Jennifer came up with the name for the blog because that was her motto: "Time to lace up my gloves and keep fighting" when she got diagnosed.

Again, Jennifer surprised her mother by announcing that in April 2008 she and Greg planned to go to Sante Fe and marry in a Chapel there. Just the two of them. Gloria supported her decision, even though she would have loved to have been there.

Jennifer had MRI's every three months. In November 2008, she would learn that the breast cancer had gone to her brain. She had to have radiation. Jennifer told her mother they would zap it. Gloria couldn't believe the news once again. Jennifer had the radiation and went for another MRI in the beginning of 2009 and she was told they got most of the cancer by zapping it with the radiation.

Gloria remembers going from New Jersey to Phoenix, Arizona to see her daughter in February 2009. She just wanted to hug her daughter and be with her in person. Gloria saw that her daughter was fine on the surface, but also knew that Jennifer was good at hiding any weakness. At this time, Jennifer only confided in her husband and didn't want her mom to worry, so she put up a brave front during her visit. Gloria saw a vibrant daughter and returned to New Jersey feeling good about her daughter's health and future.

SHOCK

Two months later, on the evening of Friday, April 10, 2009, Gloria would get a call from Greg saying that it was urgent that she and Don come to Phoenix because Jennifer was in the hospital. Gloria, and her husband, Don dropped everything and flew to Phoenix, as did Jennifer's siblings, Howard and Jennifer and their significant others.

There were no flights going west that same night due to the lateness of the hour and Gloria was so frustrated that she couldn't teleport herself there. When Gloria arrived at the hospital, she saw her daughter hooked up to a lot of machines and on painkiller drugs. Jennifer asked her mom why she was there and that she was going to be okay and didn't know why her mother had traveled there.

Jennifer's oncologist told Jennifer and her husband Greg that there was not much they could do. Jennifer's response was that she wasn't ready to slip on the banana peel just yet, and she would be alright. Jennifer didn't want to hear anything negative.

The doctor spoke to Jennifer in front of the whole family. The doctors wanted to do a spinal tap to see if there was cancer there, but it was risky and against odds. They tried it, but they didn't find what they were looking for. They wanted to do it again, but then Greg, Gloria and Don made the decision that there was nothing to be gained to do it again.

Gloria believed in her daughter and that she would live a long time. Gloria never said goodbye. Instead, she told her daughter, "I am so blessed to be your mother. You have shown so much courage and inspired so many people. Thank God I have a daughter like you."

Her daughter told her the past five years had been her best ever. She said she had such a wonderful, blessed life. Gloria said, "I love you, Jen." and Jennifer replied, "I love you too, Mom."

That was the last conversation they had.

STRENGTH

The day before, Don called Gloria's sisters to tell them to tell Jennifer's grandmother that Jennifer was in the hospital and the prognosis was not good. Gloria asked her sisters and her mother to come to Phoenix to see Jennifer. At 82-years-old, Gloria's mother arrived and told Jennifer, "We're survivors in our family. You have to be strong."

Four days later, Greg in consultation with Gloria and Don agreed that allowing Jennifer her dignity was paramount at this time and they made the decision to stop aggressive treatment and transfer Jennifer to a hospice.

Once they brought her to hospice, Jennifer was in a coma. Even though she wasn't conscious, Gloria felt her daughter knew she was there sleeping by her side 24/7 every night. Gloria whispered to her that it was okay to let go.

The last day, the hospice nurse said she could tell by Jennifer's labored breathing that it would be 24-hours before she would pass away. Jennifer had her entire family there. Jennifer's family and Jennifer's husband's family were there when she passed away.

Greg stood by the bed and Jennifer tightened his hand, kicked her foot and then she was gone. Gloria feels so blessed that her daughter allowed her to be in the room for her last breath. Her love of her life was there. April 21, 2009 next week is the one year anniversary of her passing.

JENNIFER'S LEGACY

Today, Gloria continues to keep her daughter's memory alive. Jennifer's husband, Greg is a crusader for cancer and started the Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona, which raises money for The Banner Desert Medical Center and Mobile On-Site Mammography, a mobile way for women to get their mammograms.

The On-Site Mobile Mammography is funded by The Jennifer Hoffmann Memorial, the charity set up by Jennifer's parents, husband, friends and family specifically for women who can not afford mammograms.

On April 10, 2009, they had a screening and 45 women who signed up were given free mammograms. These are women who do not have medical insurance.

Jennifer wanted to be cremated and have her ashes scattered at the Grand Canyon because she loved going there to hike with her husband, who followed her wishes. He did so alone.

Her husband, Greg Hoffmann is going there on Wednesday, April 21, to commemorate Jennifer's passing.
He plans to continue Jennifer's fight for a cure.

Greg is now on the board of the Foundation. Each November, his team, THRIVR, walks in the Three Day Walk for Susan G. Komen Walk for Cancer, as do other members of Jennifer's family.

JENNIFER'S SPIRIT

Despite her diagnosis, Jennifer went on with her life. A life that meant divorce, marriage, work, family, friends. She continued to live. The message she gives is that illness does not have to prevent someone from living as if they would live forever.

After Jennifer passed away, Gloria received so many letters telling her what an inspiration Jennifer was to them during this time.

Jennifer's friend is a photographer named Jill Stafford in California has made an exhibit with Jennifer's sayings from her blog and she gifted the photograph with the saying to Gloria. The saying reads:

"...and then we go on with the business of living whether or not the scenery has changed. We have no choice in what we are dealt, but we have a choice in how we deal with it."

That saying keeps Gloria going. It also keeps Jennifer's husband going. He wrote the following tribute.

In memory of Jen...

On April 21, 2009, the world lost one of the good ones to breast cancer. My wife, Jen Hoffmann, after a 9-year battle with the beast, elegantly unlaced her gloves and did what all of us should aspire to do -- she left the world a better place.

Much more than just a survivor, I called her my "thriver." Literally and figuratively, she climbed mountains, and while doing so, she inspired thousands, courageously fighting a disease that just wouldn't let go, reminding us all what a precious gift it is just to be alive. Never a woman dying of cancer, she was always a woman living with cancer -- and oh how she lived.

She was a five-time participant in the Arizona Breast Cancer 3-Day, and the team she founded, Team THRIVR, will once again hit the pavement in November 2009, determined more than ever to raise money to find the cure.

We'll walk with heavy hearts, and we'll walk with the sweetest memories of a life well-lived. We'll walk, because everyone deserves a lifetime -- and because far too often, not everyone gets one.
Godspeed, beautiful girl. Thrive on.

--Greg Hoffmann

Gloria Glickman and Greg Hoffmann want to keep her daughter's spirit, courage and message alive. They encourage women to get regular mammograms. All women are at risk of breast cancer with advancing age, regardless of their age.

But like her young daughter, Jennifer -- if your family does have a history of breast cancer in the family, she wants you to make sure you schedule an appointment and if you don't have health insurance, she wants you to know there is someone you can contact.

The Mobile Mammography Screening was set up in honor of her daughter, Jennifer to help others who may not be able to afford early detection. Gloria Gickman continues to this day to raise awareness about breast cancer in her daughter's honor, which is exactly what Jennifer would want.

Prostate Cancer and Treatments - Macrobiotic Diet

Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer among men. Prostate cancer is especially frequent in men over fifty. The malignant neoplasms of the prostate are very slow growing, so that is why men over fifty are the most at risk. Factors like diet and genetics have been implicated in the development of prostate cancer. It is very important to create an environment where cancer can´t grow and expand. So the diet is very important in preventing and also curing cancer.

Macrobiotic Diets have been very successful in curing various types of cancer like prostate cancer. Macrobiotics is based on the writings of Sagen Ishizuka (1850-1910) a Japanese physician, who cured himself of cancer. He accomplished that by reverting back to the unpurified Japanese diet, abandoning the refined diet of affluent Japan. His diet consisted of soybeans, brown rice, miso soup, fish, sea vegetables etc.

HOSPITAL DIET

The macrobiotic diet is basically a vegetarian diet that consists of 50% whole cereal grains, about 30% of white meat, fish, locally grown vegetables and some amounts of sweet potatoes, potatoes, eggplants, tomatoes, spinach, pepper, asparagus, zucchini, mayonnaise, avocados, coffee, tea and no read meat.

This diet helps because it is low in fat (processed), high in vegetables, high in fiber, it has the ability to change an acid environment into alkaline, there is improved sodium to potassium ratio, sea vegetables contain thyroid stimulating substances, anti-cancer agents found in soybeans, sea vegetables and other fresh foods etc.

Anthony J. Sattilaro an anaesthesiologist at Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia said this diet as the reason he recovered from metastatic prostrate cancer. In 1978 Michio Kushi established a macrobiotic center in Boston and he has encouraged cancer patients to continue with conventional care. Kushi also stated that cancer occurs mostly due to improper diet and personal behaviour, but also because of the lifestyle and the wrong way of thinking. The main goal of this diet is to detoxifie the body from toxic conditions and therefore make an environment that is unsuitable for the cancer.

Can the Mediterranean Diet Help Prevent Cancer?

One of my hospital stays lasted 32 consecutive days. During that time I lost 60 pounds. Not the best way to loose weight. Actually, even though I was overweight, I never tried to diet. I used to say, "I could live on steak and potatoes for the rest of my life." I also enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner and very rich deserts after dinner.

Most of my regular readers know, that prior to my cancer, I did not pay any attention to health issues. Not only did I have a very unhealthy diet, I also smoked 2 packs of non filter cigarettes a day for over 50 years.

HOSPITAL DIET

Even after being declared "Cancer Free" I continued to smoke. I told you I was not too bright when it came to my health. The fact that my primary cancer was in my tonsils, you would think I would have associated my cancer with smoking. I didn't.

On one of my follow up visits with my Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor, he said to me. "John, if you don't quit smoking. The cancer will come back." He added. "I'm not saying it may come back, I'm saying it WILL come back." That scared me" I quit smoking.

Shortly thereafter I started gaining back the 60 pounds I had lost. I decided I would have to go on a diet if I wanted to loose that weight. However, by now I was keenly aware of the importance of having good nutritional eating habits. I knew certain foods were proven to help protect against cancer. Could I find a diet that would be healthy and help protect me from a recurrence of cancer, and at the same time help me loose weight?

I searched and found one, The Mediterranean Diet. One of the things I like about the Mediterranean diet is that it allows you to have a glass of wine with dinner and I really enjoy my glass of wine with dinner.

I suspect that many people starting out on a new diet wonder if they made the right choice. I was thinking about that while watching the evening news. WBZ-TV's Dr. Mallika Marshall was talking about the Mediterranean Diet. She confirmed for me that I had made the right choice. She directed the viewers to go to WBZ's website for more information on the Mediterranean Diet; I did and fount the following to be very informative videos.

Just what is the Mediterranean Diet?

This is from Stanford University

The ideal Mediterranean diet is based on the dietary patterns of the people of Crete in the early 1950s and late 1960s. The Mediterranean diet, as the name expresses, is characteristic of the foods that are commonly available in this region.

Cancer: Causes and Remedies (Part ONE)

Part One

This article will not be a complex one due to the mass ignorance and fear associated with this subject and fatal pathology. Americans are already frightened to death about cancer and their gross ignorance only compounds the problem, plus, a lot has already been written on this subject, but in many writings, the content is a bit complex terminology-wise and served no beneficial purpose for the masses of the American people.

SACRED HEART MEMORIAL HOSPITAL DIET

What Is Cancer?

Many people are succumbing to cancer and the two biggest factors in this succumbing to cancer are FEAR and IGNORANCE. Yes, people are ignorant to what cancer really is and as a result, they fear it.

In 400 B.C., Hippocrates assigned the name of Cancer or crab to a disease encountered during this era, because of its crab-like spread throughout the body. Cancer's Greek name was "Karkinos." In 164 A.D., Galen of Rome called the disease "tumor" which derived from the word "tymbos" meaning a sepulchral mound. In Latin, it was called "tumore" which meant "to swell."

Speaking in my most basic terms to really help the masses understand this pathology, cancer is an anaerobic condition which basically means cancer is the final result or stage of a low oxygen and very acidic state of existence. In a nutshell, this is what cancer is physiologically-speaking.

When someone has cancer, oxygen levels in the body are very low. The body's alkalinity is also very low. When there's low oxygen and alkalinity, the body's cells become abnormal. The cells of the body communicate with each other passing along vital information. Oxygen feeds the cells and allows for proper communication. But when there's lack of oxygen, a great lack of oxygen, this communication becomes thwarted and the cells start acting abnormally. This is why you hear many health specialists and experts say cancer is "abnormal cells" or "abnormal cell activity." This is true! Many doctors erroneously say cancer is a proliferation of dead cells, which is not true. If the cells were dead there would be no action. Cancer does denote abnormal cell activity and this abnormal cell activity is due to lack of oxygen and low alkaline level which means excessive acid level or acidosis.

This is what cancer is! And cancer is the second biggest killer of Americans (right behind heart disease) and Western medical experts predict that in the new millennium, one out of every two Americans will ultimately die of cancer. And this is true if we don't change our ways and our lives.

Americans generally don't have hearts (heart disease) and they are eating up on the inside (cancer).

Cancer patients/suffers begin to get thin and this is caused by an internal "eating up" process where certain cells start attacking other cells. Now while an "eating up" is taking place in the body, a neoplasm characterized by the uncontrolled growth of anaplastic cells invade surrounding tissue which metastasizes.

Neoplasm simply means "any abnormal growth of new tissue, benign or malignant." In other words, neoplasm means "tumor" which explains why cancer patients/sufferers become beleaguered with tumors inside of the body and outside of the body.

Anaplastic refers to "anaplasia" which means "a change in the structure of cells and in their orientation to each other characterized by a loss of differentiation and reversion to a more primitive form." Anaplasia is characteristic of malignancy.

Tumors exist in two states: benign and malignant. Benign means "not fatal or pernicious." Malignant means "highly injurious, pernicious or fatal."

Cancer is usually the cause of malignant tumors. In cases of benign tumors that are common in cases of fibroids and breast tumors, fluidic waste is usually the cause.

In cancerous individuals, white blood cells are numerous. The white blood cells begin to outnumber the red blood cells. White blood cells always denote toxicity, imbalance, poison, and foreign invasion of that which is unnatural or that which should not be in the body. Excessive white blood cell count is almost always indicative of cancer.

White blood cells have precursors known as "leukocytes," also called "leukocyte precursors." When bone marrow in the body is replaced with these leukocyte precursors in addition to abnormal numbers and forms of immature white blood cells in circulation that infiltrate the lymph nodes, spleen, liver and other filtering organs, the result is a form of cancer called "leukemia."

Leukemia was initially a cancer indicative of Caucasians in general and Caucasian children in particular. In my earlier teen days I used to always wonder why it was predominantly white children who perished from leukemia. I didn't understand why this form of cancer only seemed to occur in white people, especially white children.

But when I performed my own research and discovered that leukemia was a cancer found in 30% of dairy cows, it then made all the sense in the world to me why so many white children where dying of this cancer. The leukemia was coming from the cows via their milk and who drank the most milk? - White people and white children in particular. They were drinking milk at home, at school, at restaurants, etc. In fact, other cultures picked up the habit of drinking cow's milk from Europeans (Caucasians).

A good movie starring Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts came out in 1994 entitled "I Love Trouble" and in this film, its climax showcases and exposes a sinister plot involving milk production from cancerous cows and its relation to leukemia. Movies, though illusions, contain a lot of reality when you know what to look for. I'm a serious movie-goer and watcher/screener simply because I'm a researcher and the Rulers (of the Matrix) hide a lot of information in the movies and like they say, the best place to hide something is before the eyes. This is so true!

However, since the 1990s leukemia rates have risen sharply amongst African-Americans and it's easy to understand why. All you have to do is look at the high dairy consumption of African-Americans who are lactose-intolerant bio-genetically or by nature. But because they are unwisely following the Western/European-based high dairy diet of Caucasians, they too are now dropping like flies from leukemia.

I was shocked to learn that my South-Central Los Angeles neighborhood friend, Lucius Harris (of the NBA's New Jersey Nets), older brother named Dino, died of leukemia a few years ago. Dino was a cool dude. It was so strange and foreign to hear of a brother/Black male from the hood dying of leukemia. You always saw Dino back in the day (early 1980s) rollin' down the street in a sharp low rider bumping his sounds (playing his music) flossing with his cool afro. But this brother fell prey to a form of cancer that was foreign to African-Americans, at least 15-20 years ago.

So yes, leukemia rates are rising amongst African-Americans due to their consumption of dairy cow products such as ice cream, butter, cheese, sour cream, etc.

I have been warning African-Americans, especially Black females/women, for a long time now to leave dairy products alone because dairy is the greatest causative factor in many of the female pathologies such as uterine fibroid tumors that they suffer from. I tell them that dairy is "cow snot" and "cow poop" and have the videos in my collection to prove it.

Even though white people have customarily been consuming dairy products (mainly milk) for a long time, I also tell them it's no good for their bodies either. They may have a greater tolerance for milk and dairy products than other races and cultures, but it still negatively affects them too.

Milk does not do a body good (unless you're a baby cow [calf]). Got milk? If you do, you got nothing but PUS (MUCUS)! Almond Breeze, Rice Dream, coconut, soy and oat-based milks are better choices and alternatives for milk, at least for human consumption.

And beware people! Don't fall for the latest scheme that milk helps in weight loss. The dairy industry is playing on American women's emotions in the area of obesity and excess weight. If milk helps in weight loss, then why are cows so damn big? The milk should neutralize the growth hormones that are given to cows and prevent them from being so weighty.

The Dangers of Chemotherapy and Radiation

Western medicine's approach to treating cancer is the cut, slash and burn technique which is insane and diabolical to me. You have to be out of your damn mind to take or undergo chemotherapy

.
Chemotherapy is chemical therapy, but what kind of chemicals? Can you say PETROLEUM? That's right! Chemotherapy is nothing but rock fuel (petroleum) that comes straight from the Rockefeller pharmaceutical drug cartel. The Rockefellers owns the 15 largest pharmaceutical companies in the world in addition to the American medical industry and cartel. Is it any wonder that the Rockefellers use petroleum drugs in their medical industry and cartel that they also own, considering that they also own and dominate the petroleum industry?

There is also a big connection between the automotive industry and cancer. The temple of the modern method of cancer treatment in the corporate United States is the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in New York where young actress Michelle Thomas (of Family Matters sitcom) was murdered, oops, I mean "died."

Alfred P. Sloan was president of General Motors Corporation for a number of years. Charles Kettering created the auto ignition, lights, starters and other electrical systems. Now why would individuals such as the Rockefellers, Sloan and Kettering be involved in the medical industry in general and cancer therapy (chemotherapy) in particular? Can you say BIG BUSINESS?

Oh yes, cancer is big business in the United States. The American Cancer Society, launched by the father of advertising, Albert Lasker, brings in hundreds of millions of dollars per year and has been doing so for many years and still they have no cure for cancer in Western/allopathic medicine. In truth, they are not even looking for one because the money is made in keeping people sick, performing surgery, and saturating cancer victims/patients with chemotherapy and radiation.

The Cancer industry knows the American people want a miracle pill that they can just pop into their mouth to knock cancer out (which will NEVER happen). The American people want this because a miracle pill would allow them to keep living lavishly and frivolously while eating their beloved degenerate, denatured and devalued Standard American Diet.

No pill will ever knock out (cure) any disease. A single pill didn't cause the pathology. It was the thought process (mindset), diet and lifestyle (or death style) of the person that caused the pathology. And yes, consuming various or multiple pills (drugs) plays a role in the development of pathology. Disease is multidimensional and not one dimensional. Unfortunately for Western allopathic medicine, they treat disease in a one dimensional way.

Nearly one million people die from cancer in the United States every year. In all due honesty cancer patients/sufferers are not dying from cancer. They are in effect dying from the cancer treatments - chemotherapy and radiation and the belief that they are going to die (thanks to the unwise doctor telling the cancer patient this).

Folks, chemotherapy is POISON! If you give chemotherapy to a healthy person, the person will become sick. Now how can that which will make a healthy person sick be given to a sick person and expect to make them well? Where in the world is the logic in this?

The human body is NOT made up of chemotherapy (petroleum). Therefore, petroleum is a foreign substance in the body and will cause the body's defense mechanism to kick in. But in cancerous persons, their bodies are already too weak to resist and fight the foreign substance.

Chemotherapy is so toxic, poisonous, and injurious that it makes the hair fall out. This alone should tell you something. You're going to treat the cancer but one of the many side effects is that the hair on your head and face is going to fall off and out? This is outright insane and absurd, but yet in still hundreds of thousands of poor, frightened and ignorant individuals unwisely subject themselves to this insidious invasive process and to their great doom and demise.

The other widespread insidious technique used on cancer victims, oops, I mean "patients," is RADIATION! Now you've really got to be out of your damn mind to undergo this treatment. Radiation has no place in the human body, at least not in the body of a healthy and sane person.

Radiation is based upon the toxic element "radium oxide," a serious poison to the human body. Radiation treatment leads to radium neuritis and myalgia. Radiation is used under the illogical premise of killing the cancerous cells in the body, but how are you going to kill the cancerous cells of the body without harming and killing the good/beneficial cells of the body? Folks, radiation kills ALL cells in an indiscriminate way. This treatment and process literally burns and cooks your flesh and have you ever smelled cooked flesh of a living human being? It STINK something terrible, people! I know from first hand experience (with my beloved father who succumbed to lung cancer in 1994).

And for the males with prostate cancer, the insidious medical industry has a new technique that utilizes "radiation seeds" whereby doctors inject tiny radiation-like seeds in the male reproductive system including the testicles. The result is serious damage to the rectum.

Chemotherapy and radiation treatment is modern-day voluntary TORTURE, plain and simple!

Surgery

You'd have to be seriously out of your mind to undergo surgery while suffering from cancer. Surgery opens the body up and exposes the insides of the body to oxygen which causes cancer cells to spread rapidly and out of control. This is a sure-way ticket to an early and premature death, and not to mention, a very painful death.

Yes, cancer victims/patients experience a pain out of this world. In fact, this pain is so bad, many cancer victims/patients beg for death. I witnessed this with my father back in 1994. He became a skeleton. I remember my Uncle Larry and my Cousin Dennis attempting to get my father out of his bed one day and the man screamed for them to put him down and just leave him alone. The pain in moving him was unbearable.

People, it is a pain out of this world! This is why many cancer victims/patients are given pain killer drugs which do absolutely no justice at all. For most, they just end up praying to God to quickly remove them from their misery.

My poor mother was also one of these individuals, succumbing to pancreatic cancer (the worst cancer you could ever have) in 1999. It was my mother's death that served as the quintessential catalyst for me to finally get up and start promoting and selling my herbal concoctions to the public. It was fear that prevented my mother from taking herbs during her bout with cancer. She opted for the Western solution (torture) and paid dearly for it.

Allopathic doctors had my mother on all kinds of drugs, mostly painkillers. My little sister reported to me that my mother was throwing up so bad (from the chemotherapy and other drugs) that she was throwing up her bowels. I heard horror stories about my mother and her experience in the hospital with cancer. It was because of all that I heard from my siblings and family members that I consciously chose not to visit her in the hospital during her last and dying days. I didn't want to remember my mother this way and in that condition like I had done with my father out of familial pressure. When it was time to view my mother's body at her funeral, before the casket was opened, I got up and walked out of the church and stood outside just looking at the Compton, California neighborhood my mother grew up in. My poor mother was reduced to skin and bones due to cancer.

So as far as surgery is involved, if you have cancer and decide on surgery, all I can say is: Kiss Me Goodnight, because ultimately you're finished, through, 86ed, terminated, done, etc.

Personally, I'd recommend the new and effective alternative cancer treatment, Poly MVP and hyperbaric oxygen therapy instead of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
